Lynette Alcántara in conversation with Alastair Oatey — A life in music

Lynette is a mezzo soprano, conductor and singing teacher and Director of Music at Wolfson College.  She is the founding conductor and Director of Music of KJV Community Children’s Choir which has just celebrated its 15th anniversary year.  For a dozen years or so she was the singing teacher to the boy trebles of the world-famous Choir of King’s College Cambridge. She will tell us about how music is essential to her life and about her passion for sharing music with others and her belief in the power of music and singing to transform lives.
