How will HRG run next year?
HRG has been running for 10 years. All present agreed that HRG should continue.
Zoom meetings very convenient as residents can attend from home. In-person meetings also useful as discussion is easier.
We agreed to continue both:
In-person meetings, 2 or 3 per year as required. Will be advertised in newsletter. All are welcome to attend, give views and inform about issues. Residents will be advised to check website for dates.
Zoom meetings. We are always looking for new members and would appreciate people with skills in organising and managing zoom meetings.

Newsletter.
This is an important source of information for residents.
Suggestion that, in the next newsletter, we add some information on the history of HRG and attribute achievements to specific people.
CCCSwon’t attend mtgs but will do newsletter as long as she given the news items.
We agreed that stronger links between HRG and PC would be beneficial.
IR could help share information as she is now on HRG and PC.
Website.
Needs updating. CA can update the current topics on the website.
Email address accessible to residents group members only is harstonresidents@gmail.com
CA checks for emails from residents. Suggested that the email contact info should be more friendly and approachable.
We need to ensure it is updated in line with how we run in the future.
CA will upload newsletters on to website. Currently 350 people are on email list. People are asked to sign up to receive it.
Email is main point of contact for HRG.
Topics needing to be kept up to date include Greener Harston, Litter Pick, EWR (click on link to go to EWR website).
People can be advised to use Harston Residents email or IR’s PC email for contact.
