Since October 2025 the parish council are responsible for implementing the policies and actions found in the Neighbourhood Plan. Some of the projects are community led such as creating the Button End Nature Reserve on the abandoned gravel pits.
Some policies such as the safeguarded land for parking in The Footpath will need to be explored further (see update on The Footpath Land Use Survey).
A compliance checklist has been created by councillor Paru Naik (previous chair of NP) to be used when assessing future planning applications. An example is shown below.
The Parish council action plan for 2026-7 will cross reference with Neighbourhood Plan policies and actions.
